Spiced Turkey Burgers– Our summer lunch recipe wagon presents a summer meal you can take to work or camp, or the beach.  Our recipes are quick, easy and less than 30 minutes to make.  Make our recipes the night before, refrigerate and pack for the next day.  Or, on the other hand, you can make our meals and freeze them for next week.  Our special today is Spiced Turkey Burgers
SUMMER RECIPE WAGON: Spiced Turkey Burgers
1 ¼ pounds ground turkey
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
¼ teaspoon each salt and ground black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
¼ teaspoon each ground coriander, ground cumin, and curry powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 hamburger buns
1 cup alfalfa sprouts or shredded lettuce
1 ripe tomato, sliced
Add crunch to these burgers with a basket of potato or tortilla chips, or a crisp salad
In a medium sized bowl , combine turkey , onion, parsley, salt and pepper, coriander , cumin and curry powder. Shape the turkey mixture into four patties, each about ½ inch thick
In a large skillet , heat oil over moderately high heat. Add the turkey patties and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 3 minutes on each side.
Meanwhile toast hamburger buns.  Place a turkey patty in each bun; top each with some alfalfa sprouts or lettuce and slices of tomato.  Pack in a heated meal tote for a hot lunch to go.
